Suzuki has launched its compact SUV, the Fronx, in Japan. The vehicle, which made its global debut in India in 2023 and has been introduced in various international markets, is being exported to Japan from India.
The Fronx is powered by a 1.5L K15C engine paired with a mild hybrid system, featuring a 12-volt lithium-ion battery and a 6-speed automatic transmission. This setup delivers smooth performance and strong acceleration.
A 4WD version, designed exclusively for the Japanese market, is also available. Safety features include advanced systems like Dual Sensor Brake Support II, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keep assist, ensuring a safe driving experience.
The interior of the Fronx is designed with modern technology and comfort in mind. It includes a 9-inch HD touchscreen that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, providing seamless smartphone connectivity. Additional features include a head-up display (HUD), wireless charging, and various storage compartments.
While Suzuki is not expected to officially launch the Fronx in Pakistan, the popularity of imported used JDM cars in the country suggests that slightly-used Suzuki Fronx models may soon be seen on Pakistani roads.
