One Direction’s Music Rises in Charts Following Death of Liam Payne

Following the tragic passing of Liam Payne, all of One Direction’s songs are reportedly climbing the UK albums Top 40 chart. Payne died at the age of 31 after falling from a third-floor window at Casa Sur Hotel in Argentina while on vacation. His bandmates shared heartfelt tributes, expressing their sorrow.

In response to the news, fans have been streaming One Direction’s music more than ever. Currently, their second album Take Me Home sits at number 12, while Midnight Memories is at number 13. Other albums, Made In The AM and Four, are at number 5 and 20, respectively. The debut album Up All Night has also made it to number 33.

Several singles from the pop group are expected to appear on the singles chart this week, with “Night Changes” predicted to take the 13th spot. Additionally, statistics from The Official Charts show that three of Payne’s solo songs might enter the top 75: “For You” at 67, “Strip That Down” at 73, and his final release “Teardrops” debuting at 66.

The band released a joint statement on Instagram, stating they were “completely devastated” and would miss Payne “terribly.”
