In a tragic incident, a 7-year-old child was shot dead by a security guard at a farmhouse in the Chohang area of Lahore.

The child had been playing cricket nearby and went to the farmhouse to get water when the security guard, identified as Nazir, opened fire, killing the child instantly.

Police reported that Nazir was caught while trying to flee to Okara from a local bus station, and the murder weapon was recovered from him.

A case has been registered based on a complaint from the child’s father. According to the FIR, Nazir had previously warned the child not to drink water from the farmhouse a few days before the incident.

On the day of the shooting, when the child returned to the farmhouse, Nazir shot him, resulting in the child’s death.

The case also lists two unidentified individuals possibly connected to the security guard’s actions, with further investigations ongoing to determine their roles.
