The gold rate in Pakistan further increased by Rs900 to Rs281,800 per tola in the local market on Saturday (Oct 19).
Similarly, 10 grams of gold was priced at Rs241,598, reflecting an increase of Rs772, based on the rates provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Friday, the gold price rose by Rs3,000, reaching a new record high of Rs280,900.
The price of per tola silver increased by Rs.50 to Rs.3,150.
Meanwhile, the international gold price rose on Saturday. According to APGJSA, the rate was $2,721 per ounce (plus a $20 premium), reflecting an increase of $9 for the day.
