LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has called for a countrywide protest, urging citizens to join demonstrations on Friday, October 18.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur announced that protests will take place in every district and city nationwide, demanding the release of PTI’s founder, as well as party leaders and workers.
Gandapur urged the public to resist what he described as unconstitutional changes, warning that silence today will lead to suffering for future generations.
He stressed the importance of speaking up to safeguard rights and secure the future for their children. In a message directed at decision-makers, Gandapur warned them against making choices that harm national interests, emphasizing that those responsible will eventually face accountability for their actions.
