Prize bonds are among the safest investment options in Pakistan. One of the key benefits is that there is no risk of losing the initial investment, while the possibility of earning cash prizes remains. Winners are awarded first, second, and third-place prizes through quarterly draws.
Though the odds of winning are slim, the high-value rewards attract many investors. Another reason for the widespread interest is that prize bonds are regulated by National Savings, which operates under the central bank’s authority.
The National Savings Bank conducts prize bond draws every three months. The most recent draw for the Rs 750 bond, draw number 100, took place today, October 15, 2024, at the National Savings Division office in Faisalabad.
