ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and President PML-N Nawaz Sharif and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have expressed satisfaction over decline in inflation and interest rate.

Bilawal called on Nawaz at Punjab House, Islamabad on Thursday. Both leaders were also satisfied with improvement in economic indications and increase in foreign exchange reserves of the country.

They welcomed the arrival of a Saudi business delegation and holding of SCO Summit in Islamabad and termed them good signs for the country’s development and prosperity.

They agreed that such activities would improve Pakistan’s image in the world and cause a positive expansion for economy.

Nawaz Sharif said that the time had proved that Charter of Democracy in 2006 was positive development at the right time and in right direction, adding the Charter of Democracy rendered stability to democracy and the Parliament started to complete its terms.

As a result of the Charter of Democracy, all the political parties fought together against the non-democratic forces that did the politics of sit-ins, disturbances and invasions, Sharif observed.

He further said that a system of justice should be created in which there is no supremacy of any individual but the people’s mandate and institutions must be respected.

On the occasion, talking to Nawaz Sharif, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said, “I appreciate your political capital, vision, thinking and experience. The country and the nation need your political experience, thinking and political vision.
