Pakistani nationals employed in Dubai, a major emirate of the UAE, can sponsor their families to live with them, provided they meet the requirements, including a minimum monthly salary. Both employers and employees with valid UAE residence visas can sponsor their families.
Previously, only certain professions were eligible for family sponsorship, but now anyone who meets the criteria, regardless of job title, can sponsor a family visa in Dubai.
Documents Required for Sponsoring a Dubai Family Visa
To sponsor a wife and children, the following documents are needed:
- Completed application form (online or through a registered typing office)
- Passport copies of the wife and children
- Photos of the wife and children
- Medical clearance certificate for the wife and children over 18 years old
- Husband’s employment or company contract
- Salary certificate from the employer
- Attested marriage certificate
- Registered tenancy contract
Family members over 18 must pass a medical fitness test at approved health centres in the UAE.
Minimum Salary for Sponsoring a Family Visa
A Pakistani national must earn at least AED 4,000 without accommodation, or AED 3,000 with accommodation, to sponsor their family’s residence visa in Dubai.
