The Karachi Traffic Police has announced a traffic diversion plan for processions on 12th Rabi ul Awal, set to take place on Tuesday, September 17, in celebration of Eid Milad un Nabi (PBUH).

The birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) will be observed tomorrow with great religious zeal and reverence.

In Karachi, as in other cities, Milad processions will take place, during which religious scholars will discuss various aspects of the Prophet’s life, urging people to follow his teachings and Sunnah.

According to the Karachi Traffic Police, three major processions will be held on Tuesday, all taking place on MA Jinnah Road. Two of these processions will begin at 2:30 pm, while the third will start at 3:00 pm, and all are expected to conclude later in the evening.

The first procession will commence from Kharadar Masjid and end at Gulzar-e-Habib Masjid, while the second will begin at Memon Masjid and finish at Aram Bagh Masjid.

The third procession will start from Memon Masjid in Kharadar and will culminate at Nishtar Park.

As per the traffic plan, vehicles coming from Empress Market will be redirected to Zaibunnisa Street, while those traveling from M Arkiani Chowk will be diverted to Chowrangi Road.

Similarly, traffic from Aram Bagh signal will be routed towards Shaheen Complex.

Vehicles from University Road will be directed to Kashmir Road via Jail Flyover, and those coming from People’s Chowrangi will be diverted to Saddar via Sharea Quaideen or Corridor-III.

Additionally, Guru Mandir Road will be reserved for traffic coming from MA Jinnah Road.
