ISLAMABAD; Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq suspended the Sergeant-at-Arms National Assembly for 4 months due to security failure in the Parliament.

Earlier, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, taking notice of the arrest of PTI leaders from the Parliament House, issued production orders for all the arrested MNAs and said that action will be taken on the arrests from the Parliament House and on this.

In any case, “We will have to take a stand, we have asked for videos not only of all the gates (doors) but also of every place so that we can put the responsibility on whoever is responsible”.

The speaker said that he considered himself unlucky that in 2014 a party and his cousin attacked the parliament and he was on this chair. The second attack was on the room of Maulana Salahuddin Ayub, that was also our misfortune

Now Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has suspended Grade 20 Sergeant at Arms National Assembly Muhammad Ashfaq Ashraf for 4 months on the issue of Parliament House security.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also suspended four security personnel for 4 months due to the failure of security in the Parliament.

Those suspended include Security Assistant Waqas Ahmed and 3 Junior Assistant Security Officers Obaidullah, Waheed Safdar and Mohammad Haroon.
