KARACHI: A bird hit a private passenger airplane while taking off from Karachi airport, here on Friday but fortunately the plane remained safe.
An Airblue’s Karachi-to-Islamabad flight carrying 215 passengers landed back to the airport while the passengers were shifted to the airport lounge.
The engine of the plane was badly damaged and the engineers were inspecting the engine and assessing the damage. In case the aircraft is not fit for flight, the passengers will be sent by an alternative aircraft.
