The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has announced the postponement of exams scheduled for August 26 due to the observance of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS).
The board has cancelled the exams for subjects including Chemistry, Islamic History, Dars-e-Nizami, General Science, and the Clothing and Textile groups.
These exams are now rescheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 18, at the originally assigned exam centers.

BISE Rawalpindi will issue new roll number slips to all candidates. Regular students can access their updated slips through their online portals, while private candidates will need to download theirs from the board’s official website.
Candidates can retrieve their new roll number slips using their roll number, online admission form number, or B-form number.
The Deputy Commissioner of Rawalpindi has announced a public holiday on August 26 for all educational institutions, both public and private, in observance of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A).
As a result, universities, colleges, and schools in Rawalpindi’s Tehsil area will remain closed for three days, from August 24 to 26, and will reopen on August 27. Meanwhile, Lahore will have a local holiday on August 26 in honor of the annual Urs of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh.
