All citizens must obtain a valid license from the appropriate authorities before driving vehicles, as failure to do so can result in legal consequences.

To receive a driving license, applicants must pass both theoretical and practical tests. Additionally, the government charges a fee for issuing the license.

Earlier this year, the Punjab government increased the fees for all types of driving licenses across all cities in the province, including Lahore and Rawalpindi.

This fee hike came after a 20-year gap, affecting learner licenses, car and motorcycle licenses, and others.

The provincial government has set the learner driving license fee at Rs500, up from the previous fee of just Rs60.

Motorcycle Driving License Latest Fee for Lahore, Rawalpindi

The government used to charge Rs550 for a five-year motorcycle driving license. Now, they charge Rs500 per year for the same license.

Car, Jeep Driving License Fee in Lahore, Rawalpindi

The fee for a five-year car or jeep driving license used to be Rs950. Now, the government charges Rs1,800 per year for it.
