The Ministry of Federal Education and Training has announced an extension of the summer vacation for schools and colleges in Islamabad until August 4, in response to the ongoing heatwave and humidity.

Summer vacationThe vacation period, which commenced on June 10, was initially scheduled to end on July 31, but the extreme climate has necessitated a delay in the resumption of classes to August 5.

The postponement is intended to protect students and staff from the harsh summer conditions. The Ministry advises parents and students to remain informed about potential updates to the academic calendar.
