Pakistani nationals and other tourists planning to visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) must obtain a visit visa to enter the country.
This visa can be applied for directly by the tourist or through a sponsor or host in the UAE, who must pay the required fees and submit a guaranteed amount.
Tourists are granted a single-entry visa for 30 or 60 days. The sponsor or host, who must be a tourism establishment in the UAE, is responsible for paying the prescribed fees and providing a financial security deposit.
UAE Visit Visa Requirements
- One personal photo.
- Copy of the passport.
- Identity card for the country of origin (required for nationals from Iraq, Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan).
- Medical insurance valid in the UAE.
- A travel ticket for an onward journey or departure from the UAE.
Steps to Apply for the Visit Visa
Through digital channels (GDRFA website/smart application):
- Login to the smart services system using UAE Pass or username.
- Search for the required service.
- Fill out the application information as needed.

- 30-day tourist visa: AED 200
- 60-day tourist visa: AED 300
- Plus 5% value-added tax (VAT)
Additional fees for applications from within the UAE:
- Knowledge Dirham: AED 10
- Innovation Dirham: AED 10
- Fee for applications within the UAE: AED 500
