ISLAMABAD – Pakistani citizens living in Australia can renew their machine-readable passports at the Pakistan Consulate General in Sydney, as well as other locations within the country.

The embassy provides passport renewal services from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, and until 12:30 pm on Friday.

Applicants can use an online appointment system to submit their applications, allowing them to book a convenient day to visit the consulate general for services.

Documents Required for Passport Renewal in Australia

Pakistani citizens are required to bring the following documents for the renewal of their passports:

Original valid NICOP/CCNIC

Copies of both parents’ CNIC / FRC

Last original passport

In case of dual nationals: Original Australian passport

Visa Grant Notice

Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO)

Applicants on a Bridging Visa E (BVE) need to provide a certificate from their attorney, consultant, or agent stating the reason for the Bridging Visa.

In the case of applicants on a protection visa, Form P is dully filled out and signed.

For mail delivery of passports, self-addressed Express Post or Registered Post envelope.

Pakistan Passport Renewal Fee in Australia July 2024

As of July 2024, the passport fee remains unchanged. The fee for a 36-page passport with a five-year validity is 61 Australian dollars for the ordinary category and 163 AUD for the urgent service.

The fee for a 72-page passport with a five-year validity is 110 AUD with an urgent fee of 225 AUD. For a 100-page passport with a five-year validity, the fee is 125 AUD with an urgent fee of 244 AUD.

For passports with ten-year validity, the normal fee is 110 AUD for a 36-page passport, 130 AUD for a 72-page passport, and 150 AUD for a 100-page passport.

The urgent fee for a 36-page passport with ten years of validity is 180 AUD, while for a 72-page passport it is 260 AUD, and for a 100-page passport it is 320 AUD.
