KARACHI: The Sindh government has extended the summer vacations for all schools in the province until August 14 due to the current weather conditions.
The Sindh Education Department issued a notification stating that the new academic year will now begin on August 15. The notification specifies that both private and government schools will remain closed until August 14.
This decision was made by the Provincial Education Minister, Syed Sardar Ali Shah, in response to the intense heat and forecasted monsoon rains in the region.
In a statement, Syed Sardar Ali Shah mentioned that educational institutions will organize Independence Day celebration programs on August 14.
