In the second round of the Iranian presidential elections, reformist candidate Masoud Al-Badzikian emerged victorious.
According to international media reports, Masoud Al-Badzikian, representing the reformist faction, decisively defeated his competitor, hardline leader Saeed Jalili, in the second phase of the election.
The Iranian Election Headquarters released statistics showing that Masoud Al-Badzikian secured 1.63 million votes, surpassing Saeed Jalili, who garnered 1.35 million votes.
This electoral round followed the untimely death of former Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, which necessitated early elections to fill the presidential vacancy.
