The motorcycle market in Pakistan increasingly embracing new trends and technology, the iconic Honda CD 70 remains a formidable presence. This classic motorcycle, with a design largely unchanged since the 1990s, continues to capture a significant 40% share of the country’s motorcycle market.
Analysts credit the CD 70’s lasting appeal to its practical features. The motorcycle’s fuel efficiency ensures economical travel, while its durable build is suitable for both urban streets and rural roads. Additionally, the CD 70 is renowned for its affordability and ease of maintenance, with its simple design enabling repairs by local mechanics.
Interestingly, despite the Pakistani rupee strengthening against the US dollar, Honda has not yet announced any price reductions for the CD 70. Industry experts suggest that Atlas Honda is likely to maintain current prices until the end of the fiscal year on June 30. This approach reflects broader market trends and strategic planning within the automotive sector.
