Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has scheduled a rally on June 26 at 17:00 outside the Karachi Water Board Office to protest issues concerning power and water distribution.
Supporters of the party will march along Shahrah-e-Faisal Road to reach the rally site, prompting officials to announce traffic rerouting at Karsaz and Stadium Road flyovers. This rerouting will affect routes to and from Jinnah International Airport (KHI).
According to traffic authorities, the protest is set to begin at 17:00 in front of the Water Board on Shahrah-e-Faisal.
Traffic from the airport will be diverted from Drigh Road to Rashid Minhas Road. As an alternative route, traffic police suggest Stadium Road, which will be diverted from Karsaz Flyover.
Traffic regulations will prevent movement from Sir Shah Sulaiman Road and Hassan Square to Karsaz via the Stadium Flyover.
Similarly, traffic from the stadium signal will be redirected towards New Town on the right and Millennium on the left. Shahrah-e-Faisal will remain accessible for road traffic from the Avari Hotel to the airport.
