Pakistani citizens need a short-term Schengen visa to visit Sweden as tourists.

The Swedish Embassy processes Schengen visa applications for Pakistani and Afghan citizens, as well as individuals with legal residency in Pakistan.
As of June 19, citizens and residents of Pakistan applying for a Schengen visa to visit Sweden are directed to submit their applications at VFS Global centers in Bangkok, Yangon, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila, Cebu, Jakarta, Bali, Phnom Penh, Kuala Lumpur, or Singapore.

Applicants must provide bank statements covering the past six months with their visa application to demonstrate adequate funds for their stay in Sweden.

The minimum daily amount required to cover expenses during a stay in Sweden depends on the number of days the applicant plans to spend there.

Applicants need to have EUR 2,400 in their bank account for a 30-day stay in Sweden. With the exchange rate of 1 euro equal to 298.24 Pakistani rupees as of June 17, 2024, this amount converts to approximately 715,776 Pakistani rupees.
Hence, applicants must ensure they have at least Rs715,776 in their bank accounts to cover their stay in the European country.
