The Deputy Director of the Meteorological Department confirms that sweltering conditions are anticipated on Eid day but remains hopeful that rain showers could alleviate the heat soon after.
Looking forward, the latter part of June may see two episodes of rainfall across the country, potentially signaling an early start to the monsoon season, which would bring respite from the intense heat.
Although high temperatures are likely during Eid, the potential for rain and an early monsoon season offers the prospect of cooler weather and relief for the people of Pakistan.
