Islamabad: Chairman Constructors Association (CAP) and Candidate Chairman PEC Syed Ashfaq Shah while giving budget proposals from the construction industry has said that Construction industry is the second largest employment generating sector after agriculture, more than fourty allied manufacturing industries are associated with this sector providing employment to skilled and unskilled labour.

Our demand is to save the collapsing construction industry these measures are very important, Eliminate super tax in the budget, contractors should not be considered as withholding tax agents.

FBR should not ask for records older than five years, company accounts should not be blocked without notice to the party, income and sales tax refunds should be returned without any difficulties. Engineer Azhar Islam, Mohammad Azim, Ajlal Shah were also with him on this occasion.
