LAHORE – The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced 100 positions for the role of Excise and Taxation Inspector (BS-16) on a permanent basis.
The openings are available across various directorates in Punjab, with the deadline for submitting online applications set for June 26, 2024.
Excise Inspector Jobs in Lahore
The Excise and Taxation Department has announced 35 inspector vacancies in Lahore regions A, B, C, and D. Interested candidates can apply online.
Excise Inspector Jobs in Sargodha
Four inspector positions have been announced in the Sargodha region. Applications can be submitted online.

Qualification for Excise Inspector Job
Applicants must hold a degree from a recognized university.
Age Requirement
- Male: 18 to 25 years + 5 years = 30 years
- Female: 18 to 25 years + 8 years = 33 years
- Age and sex for transgender individuals will be based on the details in their CNIC.
Closing Date for Applying Online
The last date to submit applications for the Excise Inspector position is June 26, 2024.
PPSC Fee for Excise Inspector Job Application
The application fee is set at Rs. 600. Candidates must pay this fee online or at a bank to be eligible for the examination.
Syllabus for Excise Inspector Job Examination
The PPSC will conduct a single 100-mark MCQ General Ability Written Test, to be completed in 90 minutes. The test will cover topics such as General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science, and Basic Computer Studies.
