Eid-ul-Adha 2024 is around the corner as Muslims around the world are gearing up for the Festival of Sacrifice, and dates are being revealed for Eid.
All eyes are on moon sighting as Dhul Qidah is set to start and Eid will be celebrated on the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah.
Eid ul Adha 2024
Muslims in Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Oman, Jordan, Syria, as well as in the UK, US, and Canada, will be looking for the Eid-ul-Adha crescent moon on the evening of June 6, 2024.
If the moon is sighted on June 6, Dhul Hijjah will begin on June 7, 2024, and Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on Sunday, June 16, 2024.
However, if the moon is not sighted on June 6, 2024, Dhul Hijjah will commence on June 8, 2024, and Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on June 17, 2024, with the Day of Arafat on June 16, 2024.
