ISLAMABAD: The petitions of the three Members of the National Assembly from Islamabad to change the election tribunal have been fixed for hearing.
PML-N’s Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Anjum Aqeel and Raja Khurram Nawaz expressed their lack of confidence in the Election Tribunal and submitted an application to the Election Commission of Pakistan for the change of the Tribunal.
It was pleaded in the petition that there is fear that justice will not be served as they are not satisfied with the existing tribunal.
However, the ECP has fixed the applications of Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Anjum Aqeel and Khurram Nawaz to change the tribunal on June 4 for hearing.
The Election Commission will hear the request to transfer the case from the tribunal tomorrow.
