Visiting Teacher Scheme

The Education Department intends to hire teachers on a visiting basis, with salaries paid per lecture. However, the Punjab Teachers Union (PTU) suggests initiating permanent recruitment to address the teacher deficit effectively.

They emphasize that only permanent appointments can resolve the 115,000 teacher shortage in the province.
