The National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) is the authorized entity responsible for issuing the Family Registration Certificate (FRC), which provides details about family members, to Pakistani citizens.
Pakistani citizens can apply to Nadra for an FRC in the following three categories:
- By Birth: This certificate will include details about your family, such as your parents and siblings.
- By Marriage: This certificate will list your family members, including your spouse and children.
- By Adoption: This certificate will provide information about your family, including your guardian.
If an individual is not registered with Nadra and has no 13-digit ID number, their information will not be included in the FRC.
Apply for FRC
Pakistani nationals can apply for the FRC by visiting a NADRA Registration Center (NRC) or the Pak-Identity website.

You can apply for the Family Registration Certificate (FRC) by visiting the nearest NADRA Registration Center (NRC).
For overseas Pakistanis, the FRC can be acquired by visiting the relevant mission office abroad.
New FRC Normal Fee from June 2024
As of June 2024, the fee for an FRC in the normal category is still Rs1,000, according to the official website.
Nadra FRC Executive Fee June 2024
In June 2024, the executive fee for an FRC in Pakistan will remain Rs 1,000.
