ATC summons PTI founder in violation of Section 144

ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has summoned Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf(PTI)  founder Imran Khan to court on June 28 in the case of violation of Section 144, vandalism.

Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra of the Anti-Terrorism Court heard the case filed under the terrorism provisions at Ramna police station.

Syed Shibli Faraz, Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi, Ali Nawaz Awan appeared in the court.

The court issued bailable arrest warrants for Murad Saeed, Hammad Azhar, Farrukh Habib, Hassan Niazi and other workers in their absence.

The court wrote in the order that the founder of PTI is present in Adiala Jail and he should be presented to the court on the next hearing.

Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra also issued summons for PTI founder Imran Khan to appear in court and adjourned the hearing till June 28.

Earlier,   A 13-members full court of the Supreme Court has been formed to hear  the petition filed by Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) regarding reserved seats.

The 13-member full court bench will be headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa and the hearing will be held on June 3 on the plea of the Sunni Ittehad Council. The Justice Musarrat Hilali is not included in the bench due to heart trouble.
