Chicken meat prices have dropped in Peshawar and Lahore, bringing relief to consumers. In Peshawar, live broiler chicken now costs Rs 290 per kg, down by Rs 25. Meanwhile, tomato prices surged by Rs 20 per kg, reaching Rs 90 per kg.
Other essentials like onions are priced at Rs 80/kg, peas at Rs 240/kg, and potatoes at Rs 90/kg.
In Lahore, broiler chicken prices fell by Rs 15 to Rs 377/kg, while egg prices remained stable at Rs 251/dozen.
Just yesterday, broiler chicken prices dropped by Rs 46 to Rs 392/kg, marking a Rs 100/kg decrease over five days. These fluctuations offer some respite to consumers amid varying price trends.
