The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced summer vacations for both public and private schools in response to the current intense heat.
As per a notification from the Education Department, summer vacation for primary students will begin on June 1 and end on August 31. For senior students, the break will commence from June 15, 2024. In regions with cooler climates, summer vacation will commence in the upcoming weeks.
In colder districts, schools will be closed from July 1 to August 31. This adjustment in the schedule takes into account the milder weather in these areas, ensuring a more appropriate vacation period based on local climate conditions.
