PESHAWAR: Spokesperson for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government, Barrister Dr. Muhammad Ali Saif has asserted that numerous students are stranded at the airport in Kyrgyzstan, struggling to obtain tickets on their own.
He said that students from KP are buying tickets out of their own pockets. For instance, the son of the Director-General of Information has managed to reach Peshawar by purchasing a ticket, while his nephew remains stuck at the airport.
He noted that parents are extremely worried while government ministers’ claims of providing free tickets have proven false, just like their political promises. Barrister Saif stated that parents are urging the current government to send a special plane to bring their children back, as the use of scheduled flights is causing significant issues for the students.
