Application Process
The renewal process requires live data capture, meaning the applicant must be present. The process includes:
- Data entry

These steps are managed by trained Machine Readable Passport (MRP) staff using the latest technology. Applicants do not need to bring photographs or fill out application forms, as these are completed during the visit.
Appointment and Delivery Times
Walk-in services are not available for MRP applications. Appointments must be booked online. Due to technical issues at the Passport headquarters in Islamabad, delivery times are currently affected:
