ISLAMABAD: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza has highlighted the efforts of Pakistan Armed Forces to tackle traditional and non-traditional threats.
Addressing the participants of 53rd PN Staff Course at Pakistan Navy War College, Lahore on Thursday, the Chairman JCSC has appreciated the role of Pakistan Navy confronting multifaceted traditional and non-traditional security challenges.
Gen Mirza said that Pakistan Navy as a combat ready force has always lived up to the expectations of the nation to defend the country’s coastal boundaries and maritime interests.
The Chairman JCSC also mentioned the proud history and sacrifices of Pakistan Navy for the defense of motherland.
Earlier upon arrival, Chairman JCSC was received by Rear Admiral Azhar Mahmood, Commandant Pakistan Navy War College. The CJCSC also laid wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered Fateha.
