LAHORE: President Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Punjab Chapter Dr Yaseen Rashid has appealed the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Qazi Faez Isa to take notice of political victimisation meted out with PTI and its incarcerated workers for more than one year.
In a letter, she has written from the jail and told the CJP that PTI female workers without any justification have been imprisoned for more than one year, adding that they are being denied of legal and constitutional rights whenever the courts grant bails to PTI workers, they are rearrested in other fabricated cases.
She further said that one case against the party activists ends, they are rearrested in other cities, adding that it is not justice but it is totally political victimisation, which has been continuing againts the party since long.
She questioned the ‘fake’ government established on base of Form-47 that why the judgments of cases have not been issued for one year.
She asked that why the channals of cases are not being submitted before the courts, why judges are frequently transferred, why the police take away the records of cases and why the prosecutors disappear from the court at the time of hearing instead of presenting their arguments.
This bogus government deems that the PTI is controlling courts from jails if it is so, this regime should go home as they are incompetent rulers, she observed.
She demand the CJP to constitute a judicial commission to probe the May 9 mayhem and bring the truth before the nation.
