Weather Update: Temperatures likely to rise gradually in Lahore, parts of Punjab

Lahore and parts of Punjab are expected to have mainly hot and dry weather from Monday night through Wednesday. Temperatures will gradually increase in the plains due to the absence of significant rainfall this week, as stated by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). Continental air is prevailing over most of Pakistan, causing these conditions.

Lahore and most areas in Punjab will experience hot and dry weather with the possibility of dusty winds or windstorms in Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, and nearby regions. Daytime temperatures will rise steadily due to the lack of rain.

In Lahore, temperatures are forecasted to range between 38-40°C on Tuesday and 39-41°C on Wednesday.

Additionally, Karachi, Hyderabad, and many districts in the province experienced hot and humid weather recently. Bahawalpur and Multan were the hottest places, with temperatures reaching 41°C. In these areas, evening humidity levels were around 25% and 21%, respectively. In Lahore, the maximum temperature recorded was 39°C, with an evening humidity level of 21%.
