As thunderstorms and rain persist in many areas of Punjab, the Meteorological Department says this bad weather will continue until tomorrow.

Places like Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Khushab, and Nurpur Thal will be affected. There’s also a chance of rain in Sargodha, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, and Okara, according to the Punjab Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).

DG Khan, Multan, Khanewal, and Bahawalpur might get thundershowers too, showing how widespread this weather system is.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there will be showers and thunderstorms, possibly with heavy rain and hail. Islamabad may also see a hailstorm and heavy rain later today.

Other areas like north Balochistan, south Punjab, and upper Sindh are also expecting rain soon.

Karachi
Meanwhile, Karachi has high humidity at 75% but might see a slight decrease in heat due to restored sea breezes. The maximum temperature there could reach 33 to 35 degrees Celsius.

Lahore
In Lahore, heat has lessened after last night’s rain and storm. The maximum temperature might reach 37 degrees Celsius, with more rain expected in the next 24 hours.
