In another setback for people grappling with inflation, Pakistan’s federal government has raised driving license fees by 25 percent for both motorcycles and automobiles in Islamabad.
A government notification has confirmed a significant increase in driving license fees, impacting individuals applying for licenses for motorcycles, small vehicles, and large vehicles.
Moreover, an additional Rs 2,000 fee will be levied for those seeking an urgent license issuance. The notification also introduces new charges for the mandatory driving test, with Rs 300 for small vehicle applicants and Rs 500 for large vehicle applicants.
