In the final of the 39th RBSC Super Sixes 2024 tournament held in Bangkok, Thailand, Dare Karachi, a cricket club from Pakistan, triumphed over India’s Kolkata Cricket Club by a margin of eight runs.
Throughout the tournament, Karachi maintained an undefeated streak, overcoming one team from Bangladesh and two from India in the Round Games. They continued their winning streak by defeating the Malaysian team, Penang Sports Club, in the semi-finals, and ultimately clinched victory against India in the final.
In the final match, Kolkata won the toss and chose to field first. In a match limited to five overs, Karachi batted first and set a target of 80 runs for Kolkata. Sohail Khan played a pivotal role in setting this target, scoring 35 runs off just 12 balls.
Karachi successfully managed to limit Kolkata to a score of 71/1 in five overs. Ekansh Dobal was the highest run-scorer for Kolkata, contributing 36 runs off 12 balls.
