Daytime temperatures in Lahore and the plains of Punjab are expected to go up gradually because there won’t be significant rains on Tuesday and the next 2-3 days.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) says that most of Pakistan is experiencing continental air.
This means Lahore and most parts of Punjab will have mainly hot and dry weather from Monday evening/night onwards for the next 2-3 days. However, areas like Murree, Galyat, and nearby places will likely stay dry. Temperatures will rise slowly in the flat areas.
On Tuesday, Lahore could see temperatures between 39-41°C, and on Wednesday, between 40-42°C.
Recent weather in Lahore and most parts of Punjab has been hot and dry.
Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Faisalabad, and Sargodha were the hottest places with temperatures at 30°C. Relative humidity in these places during the morning ranged from 42-57%.
In Lahore, the maximum temperature was 38°C with 39% humidity in the morning.
