Kia’s upcoming EV6 electric crossover is gearing up for its launch, boasting a fresh design and revamped interior. Recently unveiled official images showcase its bold angular headlights and a sporty cabin, hinting at a spacious interior layout.
Originally introduced in 2022 as Kia’s inaugural dedicated battery electric vehicle, the EV6 competes in the electric vehicle market alongside its counterpart, the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
The facelifted 2025 model of the Kia EV6 draws inspiration from the recently launched Kia EV9 SUV and Kia Niro.
Its exterior features include C-shaped angular headlights, a redesigned rear light bar serving as a taillight, a distinctive tiger nose grille, and ultra-slim daytime running lights.
Under the hood, the EV6 will house an 84.0-kWh battery pack with fast charging capabilities, promising convenience and efficiency for drivers.
While details about the interior have not been officially confirmed by Kia, enthusiasts anticipate upgrades such as a refreshed infotainment system and a ‘triple panorama display’ similar to the EV9.
The cabin is expected to include a 12.3-inch driver’s display, a central 12.3-inch touchscreen, and a 5.3-inch screen for climate control settings. Additionally, improvements in sound insulation and road handling aim to deliver a more refined driving experience.
Built on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the Kia EV6 shares its foundation with the Hyundai Ioniq 5, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
Kia plans to unveil the complete specifications of the EV6 later this year as part of its expanding electric vehicle lineup.
With six additional bespoke models set to follow, including the EV3, EV4, EV5, and EV2, Kia is poised to make significant strides in the electric vehicle market by 2026.
