The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the schedule for the ninth Women’s T20 World Cup, set to take place in Bangladesh in October.
Australia has been placed in Group A, where it will compete against India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and a team that is yet to qualify.
Group B comprises South Africa and England, along with West Indies, Bangladesh (the host country), and another qualifier that is still to be determined.
Each team participating in the tournament will play four matches in the group stage. After the group stage, the top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals, which are slated for October 17th and 18th. This will culminate in the grand final in Dhaka on October 20th.
The tournament will last 19 days and will include 23 matches in Dhaka and Sylhet. If needed, reserve days have been planned for the semi-finals and final matches.
