In the past day, parts of Punjab, including Lahore, saw rainfall which made the weather nicer by cooling things down. It started with strong winds at night followed by intermittent rain until morning. This rain lowered both the high and low temperatures in Lahore and other places in Punjab.
Here are the rainfall amounts in millimeters: Mandi Bahauddin got 12, Multan got 9 at the airport and 8 in the city, Jhelum got 8, Murree got 7, Okara and Toba Tek Singh got 5, Hafizabad got 4, Jhang got 3, Sheikhupura, Kasur, and Lahore (at the airport) got 2, Rawalpindi got 1 at the Kacheri, Mangla and Faisalabad also got 1.
Bahawalpur stayed the hottest at 37 degrees Celsius. In Lahore, the high was 35 degrees Celsius. The humidity was 64% in the morning in Bahawalpur and 66% in Lahore.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department said most of Pakistan has dry air. A westerly wave is coming towards western Pakistan on April 24th. This means some upper parts of Punjab might have partly cloudy weather on Tuesday night and Wednesday. Murree, Galyat, and nearby areas might get rain, wind, or thunderstorms on Tuesday night.
Wednesday will likely be dry in most places. But southern districts might have dusty or windy conditions.
In Lahore, the high temperatures will be between 36-38 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday.
