The Karachi Board of Secondary Education has released the timetable for the annual examinations of 9th and 10th grades, starting on May 7, 2024.

The schedule aligns with the directives set by the provincial education department steering committee.

Chairman Syed Sharaf Ali Shah confirmed that exams for the science group will be conducted during the morning shift, while those for the general group will take place in the afternoon.

Admit cards for students will be issued soon, with private candidates receiving them at their residential addresses. This year, an estimated 400,000 students are anticipated to sit for the matriculation exams.

To uphold the integrity of the examinations, stringent measures will be implemented at examination centers.

Students will be strictly prohibited from bringing electronic devices or any form of cheating material onto the exam premises. Each center will prominently display guidelines for exam conduct, and vigilance teams will conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance.

The release of the exam timetable marks a crucial milestone for students preparing to sit for their matriculation exams, providing them with clear dates and guidelines for the upcoming assessments.
