Electricity Supply Schedule for Eid ul Fitr 2024 has been Released

  • NTDC has set up a central control room and regional control centers to monitor power distribution during Eid ul Fitr.
  • Specialized teams are ready to respond to any faults in NTDC grid stations or transmission lines nationwide.

NTDC has finished all preparations to ensure uninterrupted power supply during Eid ul Fitr, following Ministry of Energy (Power Division) directives.

On Monday, a company spokesperson stated that a central control room has been set up to closely coordinate with the National Power Control Center and all distribution companies (DISCOs). These control facilities will be operational 24/7 during Eid ul Fitr holidays to efficiently monitor and manage the power distribution network.

Furthermore, regional control centers have been set up in Islamabad, Multan, and Hyderabad to promptly handle any emergencies. These centers will be connected via video link to ensure smooth communication and coordination.

These control rooms have been operational during Ramadan, ensuring continuous monitoring and management of the power grid.

Specialized teams from the Asset Management (North) and (South) divisions have been assembled to quickly address any faults at NTDC grid stations or transmission lines nationwide ahead of Eid ul Fitr. These teams will have officers stationed at the grid stations at all times during the Eid holidays to promptly resolve any issues.

Engr. Dr. Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan, Managing Director of NTDC, has directed all NTDC formations to remain vigilant and ensure uninterrupted power supply throughout the country during Eid ul Fitr celebrations.
