Meteorological Department Issues Heatwave Warning for Karachi

The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert for Karachi, with temperatures expected to reach between 35 to 37 degrees Celsius today. This rise in temperature is anticipated to persist across most parts of Sindh until April 10, raising concerns for the well-being of residents.

In addition to the elevated temperatures, Karachi experienced foggy conditions in various areas this morning. Meteorological experts attribute this fog formation to increased moisture in the air caused by maritime winds.

The public is advised to take necessary precautions, such as staying hydrated and avoiding outdoor activities during peak heat hours, to prevent heat-related health issues.

Authorities are also urged to ensure the availability of adequate facilities and resources to help citizens cope with the impending heatwave.
