The GPA undertakes the development of commercial infrastructure such as bank branches, stevedores, agency offices, cargo storage sheds, and marine repair workshops across 69 acres of land, aiming to facilitate investors and generate revenue.

The construction of these infrastructures, estimated at Rs. 2381.884 million, has been initiated by GPA.

In an earlier statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized Pakistan’s stance against cross-border terrorism, declaring the security of Pakistan’s geographical frontiers as non-negotiable. While Pakistan aspires for amicable relations with neighboring countries to foster trade and economic ties, Prime Minister Sharif firmly asserted that the exploitation of neighboring territory for terrorism within Pakistan is unacceptable.
