The Balochistan government has introduced a new timetable for government offices in Quetta, the provincial capital, during Ramadan, aiming to maintain productivity while honoring religious practices.
The new office timings in Ramadan 2024 are as follows:
- Monday to Thursday: The working hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Friday: The offices will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- For offices operating six days a week, including Saturday, the timing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. However, on Fridays, these offices will close at 12:00 p.m.
This change in office hours reflects the government’s commitment to harmonizing the spiritual significance of Ramadan with the necessity of maintaining efficient public services.
