New Smart ID Card Fee Structure Update – March 2024

  • Nadra in Lahore issues the New Smart National Identity Card (NIC) to Pakistani citizens.

In Lahore, the National Registration and Database Authority (Nadra) is authorized to issue the New Smart National Identity Card (NIC) to Pakistani citizens.

The 13-digit identification number is universally recognized throughout the country. It is a primary requirement for individuals, as it is mandatory for accessing services such as licenses, NTN, bank accounts, passports, cellular connections, and more.

All Pakistani citizens aged 18 and above are eligible to obtain the new smart NIC.

How to Apply for a New Smart ID Card

You can apply for your new smart NIC by visiting either the NADRA Registration Center (NRC) or the Pak Identity website.

You can request your Smart National Identity Card (SNIC) through the Pak Identity website and opt for home delivery. However, it’s not possible to apply for a new CNIC directly through the website.

Smart ID Card: Normal, Urgent, and Executive Fee

As of March 2024, there have been no alterations to the standard fee for the New Smart National Identity Card. The fee remains Rs 750 for the normal category and Rs 1,500 for urgent processing. For the executive category, Nadra charges Rs2,500.
