LAHORE: The court of Lahore ordered death sentence three times to Nadeem Naseer, the criminal who raped a young girl.

A case was registered against the accused by Baghbanpura police station in 2020. According to the public prosecutor, the criminal threw the body of the girl in a deserted place after the rape, the victim’s shoes and scarf (dupatta) were recovered from the criminal’s house.

Additional Sessions Judge Ayesha Imtiaz sentenced the accused to death three times and fined Rs 500,000.

Earlier,   Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar  appeared before the Islamabad High Court in compliance of the court orders in the case of Baloch missing persons.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard the case pertaining to the missing students. Caretaker Interior Minister Dr. Gohar Ejaz Khan and Attorney General of Pakistan Mansoor Usman Awan were also present on the occasion.

During the court proceedings, PM Kakar said the government was working in line with the constitution and the law.
